Arc copy for honest review. I’d like to start my review for Rouge by taking a step back in time to the first book in this trilogy, Relentless. I was six months pregnant, on bed rest and bored out of my mind looking for something to read. While browsing Amazon I found Relentless and since it was free, I dowloaded it. This is where everyone is going to think I’m an idiot, I couldn’t stand it!!! The second I read the word TROLL I stopped! I thought “Who in the world wants to read about a freaking troll?” Yeah, I know you can roll your eyes now and swear to the heavens because I was an IDIOT!

So back on track, a few weeks later I was REALLY bored and decided to just read the darn thing. It couldn’t possibly suck that bad and WOW am I glad I did. This trilogy took such a refreshing and inventive approach. I absolutely adore the character Remy!! In fact he is one of my all-time favorite characters in any series. I would have completely missed out on him if I had not seen past my own prejudice. I devoured Relentless, gobbled up Refuge and sat patiently waiting (more like howling at the moon) for Rouge to come out. Apparently all that howling worked because, OH BOY did Rouge come out!

The story evolved exactly as it should have. There were parts of the book that I felt were unresolved but it didn’t matter because the story ultimately is about Sara and Nikolas. I feel like every character had their moment and those who did not…Well, they are EXACTLY where they should be. The story arc carried me right through to the shocking reveal of “WHO THE MASTER WAS”! I could not have laughed more, cried harder, yelled louder or swooned more if I had dreamed it all myself. I’m not going to give away any part of this story, since I feel like that would be robbing you of your journey. I will say that you can’t go wrong with this book. Whatever Mrs. Lynch writes I will be reading!

Where do I start with this review, I received this ARC for an honest review, which I might add I also bought it when it became available.

Start to finish I was at the edge of my seat wanting to read more and more of this amazingly awesome book. I had a few times of laugh out loud moments, some moments of I wanted to strangle a few of the characters, at times I caught myself getting teary eyed, especially towards the end of the book.

This book was constantly going, you didn't want to put it down. You meet some new characters, as well as some of the characters you come to love. It's a book you need to read, your life will not be complete until you read the Relentless Trilogy. Karen Lynch wrapped this book up, I couldn't have asked for a better ending to the series, yes, I'm sad that this is the end of the story, but I'm also happy, as I can't wait to see what Karen has in store for her next book(s).

I highly recommend this book to anyone would wants a book series to rock their world (as a friend of mine would say), as this on did for me. I could go on and on about this book series, but I don't want to share any spoilers to the ones who haven't had the chance to read this amazing book and book series.

Thank you Karen Lynch for taking me out of my reality and into your wonderful work of art in this story from start to finish. I will continue to read your books as long as you are writing them.
The Relentless trilogy is one the best series that have read. I was lucky enough to come across this book series and I am so happy that I did. The entire Relentless trilogy was amazing and the final book Rogue, did not disappoint when it comes to series-finale.

Rogue has a plot that moved perfectly and I felt a cohesiveness between all three books because thing mentioned in the previous books came full circle in Rogue. I love all the action, because when Sara is around the action is intense. There was vampires, get away cars, brawls and so much more. How could I have not been invested with all that happening in the storyline and for some reason it never felt like it was too much, I just thoroughly enjoyed the story. Then there was the romance bits, while the story is mostly action centered it had its moments where it was people centered and love seeing how Sara's and Nikolas's relationship progressed through the series and came to realization in the final book.

So much was happening during Rogue and I had all of my questions answered. Family ties were revealed, the past was uncovered, more characters that were crucial to the story made appearances, shocking plot-twist (that I didn't see coming) and another view of the supernatural was given. However through all this I got to see Sara grow and become more of a warrior she was meant to be. Sara has learned to express herself more, stand-up to those who care about her and is finally coming into her own when it comes to her powers.

Karen has manage to write an amazing series where the story feels fresh, the writing kept me total engrossed and I have come to love the characters so much. Rogue was everything that I could have asked for in a series-finale and I will miss these characters so much... ugh I have a book hangover. I can't be sad for long because I have Warrior to look forward to, it's the Relentless series told from Nikolas's pov. Plus there are the spin-off books that feature my favorite characters from the series that I have to look forward to, although if Karen is willing to do more Sara and Nikolas books I will be the first to buy them.
